Raised in a Christian home in a small college town in Southeast Missouri, Jeffrey has traveled on a unique road of triumph & tribulation.
Blessed with superior size, strength, and athleticism, Jeffrey earned a division-one football scholarship & competed as a dual sport athlete for a championship program in the SEC for 5-years.
Jeffrey gave his life to Christ on May 14, 1978 and his salvation was secure. Due to his immaturity & strong flesh, he struggled to make Jesus Lord of his life, foolishly choosing Jeffrey as lord of his ring.
Through a series of painful trials, Jesus was knocking on the door of his heart to repent & make Jesus Lord.
On November 25, 1995, Jeffrey accidently spilled a pot of flaming grease over 18% of his body, resulting in 3rd degree burns on Jeffrey’s hand, foot and leg.
During this period of physical, mental, emotional, financial, & spiritual brokenness, Jeffrey cried out to the Lord, repented, and began walking with Jesus daily.
In 2009, Jeffrey was blessed to begin meeting with Stan Bower each week to begin the discipleship process of transforming Jeffrey’s “stinkin thinkin” into a biblical mindset.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2 NASB
Today, Jeffrey is a disciple of Jesus Christ disguised by many of these life-events.
Jeffrey is married to his beautiful wife, Tonya Sue Hammond-Tullis. They reside in Kapolei, HI, where they are raising their daughter, Hannah-Marie.
On Monday, October 2, 2023, Jeffrey accepted the call to join CBMC as the Area Director of Hawaiʻi.
Jeffrey is devoted to helping his family and other men discover how they too can live and work while, “doing well in the things that matter”.
