Jeffrey M. Tullis

Area Director/Development

1 John 5:11-12

11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

Jeffrey Tullis serves as Area Director for CBMC Hawai‘i, where he provides strategic leadership to advance the mission of reaching, empowering, and deploying marketplace men to live out their faith and multiply their impact for Christ. Through initiatives such as Connect3 gatherings, leadership development, and Operation Timothy discipleship, Jeffrey is committed to building a movement of men who are faithfully engaged in life-on-life discipleship and spiritual multiplication across the islands.

As a former co-founder of a successful contracting business in St. Louis, Missouri, Jeffrey developed a disciplined, results-driven approach to leadership grounded in execution, accountability, and vision. A former Division I dual-sport athlete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), he brings a competitive mindset shaped by resilience, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities that now fuel his passion for equipping men in both the marketplace and ministry.

A life-altering accident in 1995, resulting in third-degree burns over 18% of his body, marked a defining moment in Jeffrey’s life. Through that season, the Lord deepened his faith, refined his character, and clarified his calling to lead with humility, dependence on Christ, and eternal perspective.

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. He is married to Tonya Hammond Tullis, and together they have a daughter, Hannah Marie. He is also the father of two adult daughters, Whitney Lauren and Lindsey Morgan, and a grandfather to eight. His family remains a central source of strength, encouragement, and perspective in both his life and leadership.

Leit kabua

Operation Timothy (OT)

Connect3 (C3)

2 Timothy 2:2

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

Leit Kabua was born on May 3, 1997, and raised in a family where church was a consistent part of life. While he was always aware of God’s presence, like many men, curiosity and the pull of the world led him down a different path. In time, Leit came to identify deeply with the story of the prodigal son—searching for purpose in places that ultimately left him empty.

On September 11, 2022, Leit experienced a life-changing rebirth in Christ. In that moment, he found the purpose, direction, and hope that many men in his generation are still seeking. Since then, his life has been marked by a growing desire to walk faithfully with the Lord and to live with intentionality.

Through his involvement in CBMC Hawaiʻi Connect3 teams and participation in Operation Timothy, Leit is being equipped through one-on-one discipleship—surrounded by men who not only support him, but genuinely care for his soul. This transformational process continues to anchor his faith, sharpen his character, and prepare him to influence others.

Leit’s story reflects the heart of CBMC Hawaiʻi: reaching men right where they are, empowering them through discipleship, and deploying them to impact others for Christ. His life is a reminder that no matter where a man begins, God is faithful to restore, redeem, and repurpose him for His glory.

Rev. James lee

Events Coordinator

Psalm 34:1

“E hoʻomaikaʻi aku i ka Haku i nā manawa a pau; ma kuʻu waha mau nō kona hoʻomaikaʻi.”
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Rev. James Lee is a devoted servant leader whose life reflects faith, resilience, and a deep commitment to serving both God and community. A retired United States Army veteran, he honorably concluded his military career in 2021 after distinguished service, including multiple deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. His time in uniform forged a leadership style marked by discipline, humility, and an unwavering dedication to others.

Following his military service, God called James into a new season of ministry. After the profound loss of his sister in 2012, he walked through a season of grief and spiritual wandering. Yet in God’s perfect timing, his path was restored and redirected. In May 2023, he fully answered that call and was ordained as a Reverend.

Today, Rev. Lee serves as Outreach Coordinator at Newtown Church of God, extending Christ’s love beyond the walls of the church and into the community. He also invests deeply in the next generation as Head Track & Field Coach at Leilehua High School and as a leader within the Honolulu County Athletics youth track program.

His passion for mentorship is central to his mission. Through athletics, he equips young men and women with discipline, character, and leadership—anchoring each program in the truth that lasting victory is found in faith, integrity, and purpose in Christ.

As Events Coordinator for CBMC Hawaiʻi, Rev. Lee brings a unique blend of leadership, compassion, and cultural respect, helping create meaningful gatherings that strengthen fellowship and advance the mission to reach, empower, and deploy men across the islands.

Dino Pertzoff

Young Professionals (YP)

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Dino Pertzoff’s journey reflects the unmistakable hand of God shaping a man through the marketplace. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Dino graduated high school in 1980 and began pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Delaware. However, what began as a traditional academic path took an unexpected turn when he transferred to the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa—on what started as a bet, but became a life-defining decision.

To support himself through college, Dino began cleaning windows on high-rise buildings. What was intended as temporary work became a lifelong calling in the marketplace. Recognizing both the opportunity and responsibility before him, Dino built his skills into a business, and in 1998 merged his two-man operation with another local company—laying the foundation for sustained growth and impact.

As the pressures of business ownership and family life intensified, Dino came to a pivotal moment. In 1999, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and married his wife, Tanya, whom he met in 1996. Together, they have faithfully navigated the intersection of faith, family, and business. Dino credits Tanya’s role in both the early growth of the company and her decision to invest fully in raising their children as part of God’s perfect design for their family.

Dino is an active member of Calvary Chapel Honolulu, where he serves on the church’s Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Family Ministry Center, a Christ-centered counseling ministry, and invests in the next generation through his involvement with Young Life.

As CBMC Hawai‘i’s Young Professionals Coordinator, Dino is passionate about reaching, empowering, and deploying the next generation of marketplace leaders. He is committed to walking alongside young men—helping them integrate faith into their work, embrace God’s design for their lives, and become disciple-makers who live with eternal purpose.

Reflecting on his journey, Dino often shares with humility: “Nobody in their right mind would have invested in me—not as a businessman, and certainly not as a husband. But God did. Thank You, Jesus.”
